Science and Engineering

We are a group focused on organic synthesis and photo (redox) catalysis at the Groningen Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP) at the University of Groningen.

Our research focuses on the synthesis of natural products and the development of light-mediated methodologies.

More specifically, we are interested in the development of sustainable strategies, such as C-H functionalization and its application in the synthesis of biologically active compounds.
